Future of Field Services
We take a look at the year to come, bringing the key developments in Enterprise Mobility and Field Force during the course of the year.

2015 is the year for enterprise mobility that signal the arrival of mobile work tools:
-More enterprise apps will have the ability to work offline. Over the last year we’ve witnessed increased adoption of user-led mobile enterprise apps, catering to employees who want more than legacy apps shrunk for mobile screens.
-70% of the employees use technologies not provided by their companies to do their jobs more efficiently. This shift towards user-led mobile enterprise apps is moving the needle on enterprise mobile development and end user adoption.

According to IDC Mobility trend report 2015-2017:
-35% of large enterprises will leverage mobile application development platforms to develop and deploy mobile apps across their organizations in 2015.
-30-40% of organizations deploying more than five mobile applications in 2015 will realize substantial business agility benefits by establishing an API tier in their enterprise IT architecture.

Wearables Enter the Enterprise:
- Wearable tech will make its most compelling use cases in industries where hands-free computing is essential - such as field workers who are fixing machinery.
- Employee tracking, integration into corporate wellness programs, and the creation of new business models that leverage basic wearables to enhance the customer experience will see significant adoption in 2015.

Stronger Security Measures:
- Technology vendors will have to make security an integral part of all new apps. And because security involves more than an app’s own internal functions, apps will need to be able to cooperate with and leverage other security services.

The forces have aligned and innovation from mobile-first startups, combined with companies finally meeting employees’ needs will make 2015 the year of enterprise mobility.
